Morning prep on the day of your wedding
The ‘calm before the storm’ also known as wedding prep has to be
one of my favourite parts of the wedding day to photograph.
Whether you are at home or at the venue getting ready, spending
some quiet time getting some lovely photos before the madness and
the hecticness of the wedding day.
I would recommend hanging out your wedding outfit and putting out
all of the jewellery you are wearing with the scent you are
wearing also.
Often some of the wedding part has stayed in the room the night
before so it is often strewn with clothes/bags and general mess so
if you could tidy an area for us to photograph in that would be
really helpful. Often there are children involved, running around
and I always fully embrace the chaos of children or animals on a
wedding morning.
If you are wearing matching dressing gowns or pajamas it’s always
good to get a photo in those and also getting in your outfit while
a first look with whoever is walking you down the aisle is always
such a special moment if it can be orchestrated.
Usually getting into your outfit around an hour before you need to
leave for the ceremony is a great idea. This gives you time to
have a drink and relax and look beautiful before you head out to
marry the love of your life.
