Micro Weddings in Manchester & Stockport: Intimate, Personal & Completely You
Micro weddings are one of the biggest wedding trends for 2026 —
and honestly, I can see why.
More couples across Manchester, Stockport and Liverpool are
choosing smaller, more intentional celebrations. Instead of a big
traditional wedding, they’re planning days that feel relaxed,
meaningful, and completely centred around their relationship.
And as a North West micro wedding photographer, these are some of
my favourite days to capture.
Why Couples Are Choosing Micro Weddings in 2026
There’s been a real shift. Couples are moving away from pressure,
expectations and large guest lists — and focusing on what truly
matters. A micro wedding allows you to:
• Spend quality time together.
• Visit places that are important to your relationship.
• Keep the day stress-free and intimate.
• Create a celebration that feels authentic to you.
Whether that’s saying your vows at a Stockport Town Hall,
celebrating in Manchester city centre, or wandering through
Liverpool’s streets after your ceremony — your wedding should
reflect you.
What Micro Wedding Photography Can Look Like
Some of my favourite wedding photos haven’t come from huge venues
or elaborate timelines. They’ve come from:
• Walking through the Northern Quarter in Manchester.
• Stopping for coffee and croissants.
• Visiting the place you had your first date - like Liverpool
Docks or Castlefield.
• Laughing together in between quiet, meaningful moments.
Just a couple of hours spent exploring, talking, and celebrating.
This kind of photography isn’t about stiff poses. It’s about
storytelling.
LGBTQ+ Micro Weddings in Manchester & Stockport
I’m proud to photograph LGBTQ+ weddings in Manchester and
Stockport.
Your love deserves to be celebrated fully and safely. I create an
inclusive, welcoming space where you can relax and be yourselves —
whether that’s bold and joyful, quiet and romantic, or somewhere
in between.
Manchester has always been a city full of personality and pride,
and it’s such a privilege to photograph LGBTQ+ couples choosing to
celebrate their weddings their own way.
No assumptions. No expectations. Just your story.
“We’re Not Comfortable in Front of the Camera…”
I hear this all the time — and it’s completely normal.
Whether you love having your photo taken or absolutely hate it, I
adapt to you.
My approach is relaxed and natural. I’ll guide you when you need
it, step back when the moment speaks for itself, and make sure you
feel comfortable every step of the way.
Because the best photos happen when you feel safe, calm, and
connected.
