I absolutely love it when a client comes to me with a clear brief — and that’s exactly what Alex did. As a Manchester and Stockport headshot and corporate photographer, one of my favourite parts of the job is helping clients bring their personality and brand to life through professional photography, and this shoot was a perfect example.

Alex has such a distinct and striking style, and she wanted that individuality to come across in her headshots. I brought a professional backdrop to her home, and she shared a collection of inspiration images that were beautifully artistic with a strong sixties vibe. These references worked perfectly with her fashion, personality, and the stunning art collection in her home, creating a unique and cohesive visual story.

This session truly felt like a collaboration. We reviewed images together throughout the shoot, discussing what worked and what didn’t, ensuring the final photos reflected her vision while still maintaining a polished, professional look.
