I was so happy to shoot Laura and Laura in Castlefield this summer. It was my first same sex wedding and the thought of shooting two lovely ladies was very exciting and a new experience for me.
The ladies had thought about everything and the attention to detail they had put into making the day perfect was second to none. A VW camper van was on hand for the day to transport the Lauras to the venue and we made great use of it in the photos.
The wedding was held in the Castlefield Rooms at Dukes 92 and the girls had done a fantastic job of turning the room into a vintage themed tea party for the afternoon. After a touching ceremony we explored Castlefield to get some great shots by the canal and the surrounding areas.
As well as photographing such a lovely couple I really enjoyed taking shots of the beautiful flowers and the gorgeous decorations the girls had supplied. I especially loved the fact that Laura and Laura gave every guest an individual vintage tea cup to take home. Everyone loves a good cup of tea ☺.
