The impressive Salford Cathedral in Manchester was the most beautiful setting for Aimee and Dane’s church wedding this summer. I must admit, this was the first wedding I had photographed where the groom had a broken leg but both Aimee and Dane took it all in their stride and didn’t let anything come between them on their perfect day. Slap bang in the middle of a really busy road in Salford the cathedral majestically stands. It really is a stunning venue and with such grand proportions that it took everyone’s breath away. After the beautiful service it was off to the Lowry Theatre in Salford where the 200 or so guests had a wonderful time enjoying the party. With Dane having a full cast on his leg and not being able to move around as much as he would have liked we were limited with the photos we could take. We had to position him and then take a few photos quickly before it got too painful. I was still extremely happy with the photographs and it just shows that you can still get great results, even with a broken leg!
