I love beauty photography so the recent shoot for Nancy at Make Up Manchester in Red Door Studios was a great shoot. We wanted a vintage look for the first look so I used a ring light to give a gorgeous hi light and radiant look to the models’ face and skin. The 2nd look was bridal make up so I wanted to use natural light. I had the models sat by the window with natural light spilling in from the side and filled in the front with a Bowens daylight. I used a veil on some of the shots to give a hazy dream like quality to the photos. I also used some flowers to shoot through and give an extra dimension and more depth of field. The last look was a more editorial style so I used a dark background with a harsher flash light. It was great to be back in the studio photographing beauty as I have been working on location more 2016-10-31_0001
