The wedding of Helen and Callum at Styal Lodge this summer was a beautiful occasion. As it is a purpose built wedding venue it is a fantastic location where they have thought of all the tiny details. As it is set on a golf course there is a beautiful spot by a lake to shoot as well as the interior of the building and the exterior garden area which is also a pleasure to shoot.
The venue was decorated beautifully with brightly coloured flowers and vintage tea pots, cups and accessories. Helen arrived at the venue and got ready in the dressing room. It was a lovely family affair with her nieces as flower girls and sister and best friends as bridesmaids.
There was a trio of violinists to accompany the ceremony and the bride looked stunning in a 50s inspired dress. After the touching ceremony and a group shot outside we were whisked away on a golf buggy by the helpful staff to the beautiful lake. As the clouds gathered we managed to get some lovely shots of Helen and Callum before heading back to the reception and their guests.
The rest of the shots I took in the garden and around the gorgeous lodge and I must say it was a beautiful wedding and a pleasure to shoot.
