Last week I had the pleasure of going to Media City in Salford Quays, Manchester on a beautiful sunny day to photograph the legend that is Pudsey the Bear of Children in Need. I captured him in many exercise positions, limbering up the Gung Ho 5km obstacle raise which will be raising money for Children in Need. There were a few unexpected challenges of photographing an extremely large yellow bear on a particularly sunny day but we had a good time doing it. I took some lighting and reflectors with me but in the end chose to photograph directly into the sunshine. It was such a gorgeous day with bright blue skies and I think I managed to capture that along with the fun element. Along with Pudsey I also photographed Alex Winters, a CBBC presenter. They were both great characters and the hour I spent with them getting the shots was a lot of fun. We also had a surprise visit from Andy from Andy’s Prehistoric Adventures. Being the mother of a 2 year old this was an exciting experience for me and I even grabbed a photo opportunity in front of the camera with him haha!
